You can surely see the impact that J-Dilla has left on many producers. Mecca:83 of Manchester, UK is one who draws inspiration from this master of sounds who left us a number of years ago. I'm not exactly sure how I came across Life Sketches Vols 1 & 2, then to see that my homie Buscrates 16-Bit Ensemble is tickling the keys on "Detroit Twilight", which is featured below.
