Spyder-D: I Hate Being Black

Annie is not the only person who can sing about the hard knock life. The legendary Spyder-D adds to the ranks of tunes from people of color who sing, rap, and do poetry about the struggles of black people in this country. His latest, "I Hate Being Black" is controversial from its title, but is not what you may be thinking. As the saying goes; "You can't judge a book by its cover". Salute To Djs: Jam Master Jay

Not only is Jam Master Jay my favorite DJ and was the DJ for Run-DMC, he was an excellent show DJ that had great timing and was also influential in me becoming a better DJ to tour with several indie and well known acts in Hip-Hop and Soul. The "King from Queens" was influential and a key figure in launching other noted acts by producing for them, marketing and through his own JMJ Records.
