Nyoka Ny-D is a talented young lady you have to salute and give respect to. With her latest project,
Magical Fruit Project she caused a bigger explosion by stepping up her game (which wasn't bad at all before) and displaying far more than just being a vocalist. Oh yeah....you best believe the lady has skills. I love the emotion that put into this album. I'm wondering who pissed her off.[LOL]
The title track "Magical Fruit" is one of those feel good tunes to just vibe to. Then she back doors it with a socio-politcal statement with "Hiipower Freestyle (Ny-Power)", that pays tribute to
Troy Davis (October 9, 1968 – September 21, 2011) and those lost at the hands of the American justice system. I hereby declare this as a must have in your collection.
