George Clinton (born July 22, 1941) is the principle architect of the P-Funk sound. As a singer, songwriter, bandleader, and music producer, Clinton was the mastermind behind Parliament-Funkadelic collective, which included The Brides of Funkenstein, Parlet, Zapp and Bootsy's Rubber Band.
