Moments ago Sir Hezekiah Davis III hit me up to let me know that the Johnny Popcorn project he's been working on for quite some time with producer Tone Whitfield is finally done. The Crow is geared up for release on March 20th and looks to be very promising for fans of his music and classic Rock music, laden with heavy Funk grooves and gritty, soulful vocals. Hezekiah sent the link for snippets of the album and it takes me back mentally to the time reminiscent of the super groups and artists throughout the 70's to the 90's that made memorable tunes to last for years and years to come. This time around, Heze lends his vocals in a different light. You just have to listen to find out.
