Jazz In The House
Although this is not the whole Patchworks E.P., this is a great single from it entitled "Sugar". It has that old school Jazz feel w/ a great bassline, guitar, organs, and has a feel good House beat that makes you want to dance. When I first heard it, I pictured the great choreographer/dancer Judith Jameson (of Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre & has appeared on the "Cosby Show") gettin' down to this one. This is music that makes you happy while holding on to musical tradition. Again, this is another record I got a hold of digging in the used record section. Once more...."One man's trash is another man's treasure".
