Keeping on in the spirit of J-Dilla, here's an amazing and thought provoking tribute track from Manchester, UK's own Mecca:83, who dropped this on us just in time for J-Dilla's birthday a few days ago. I've blogged about this cat before, so take a look back at previous posts and give him more listens. I personally want to thank this brother for his contribution to the legacy of J-Dilla and kudos for the sound clips he incorporated into the production of the track to add the icing on the cake. I'm not exactly sure how I came across Life Sketches Vols 1 & 2, then to see that my homie Buscrates 16-Bit Ensemble is tickling the keys on "Detroit Twilight", which is featured below.
